About Harrison
My name is Harrison, I am 17 years old and currently studying A levels in Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology and Psychology. In my GCSEs I achieved A*s in both mathematics and numeracy, as well as achieving a distinction in additional mathematics. Being brought up by parents who are both teachers, I know that everyone has different methods of teaching, as well as learning, and am aware that everyone is unique in the ways in which they learn best. I have always had a fascination and passion for maths for as long as I can remember, which has led to me developing a genuine enjoyment for whether I am either teaching or doing questions myself. I also have experience with working with young people and children in schools, which has helped me in bettering my understanding of how to best communicate with young people in order to make them feel comfortable in sharing their thoughts and feelings and saying when they are unsure or confused.

Due to my age and going through the school system myself very recently, this means I have a plethora of knowledge into exactly what the specification includes. I have also developed learning techniques and revision methods through multiple years of revising and best preparing myself for exams. I believe these skills are essential in order to best prepare students for exams in the future, whether they are in primary school, key stage 3 or preparing for their exams in the near future.
