About Galgallo
With over two years of focused teaching, I am a self-motivated Mathematics tutor who assists students in preparing for critical assessments. These include Bursting Algebra, Integers, Surds, Fractions, Measurement and Formulas. Every student I tutor, is an effort to ensure that the subject is simplified and loved at the same time. My students appreciate and praise my calm demeanor, warm temperament, my emotional maturity, and my considerable patience. All of which guarantee successful identification of their preferred learning styles, as well as boost their self-esteem. In case a student falls behind their lessons, is preparing for an examination or is targeting a high score, I offer custom-tailored lessons that fit every pace and requirement. Working with a high degree of professionalism and dependability coupled with passion and concern, I utilize teaching approaches that foster an eager attitude in a student. During class, students are given the freedom to inquire without the fear of being ridiculed. They are also allowed to make mistakes in the process of learning, aided by lessons that are painstakingly planned to be enjoyable, engaging, and interactive.

As a Math tutor for the past 2 years, I use a customized, learner-specific strategy for instruction. My teaching techniques include first simplifying the concepts before linking them to practical scenarios to enhance the understanding of abstract subjects such as Algebra, Surds, and Fractions. I make it a point to note that all students are unique and hence, I provide explanations that cater to the different learning approaches whether visual, auditory, or kinesthetic.
Lesson Structure: Every class begins with a quick recap of the previous lesson followed by a clear walkthrough of the new concept. Lesson delivery includes cognitive modeling followed by guided and independent practice, questioning to promote engagement, and brief reviews, leading to practical skill-building exercises culminating the lesson to reinforce learning.
Why I Stand Out: I come with rich soft skills which include emotional awareness, patience, and active listening that assist me in understanding academic and nonacademic challenges of the learners. Creating a safe environment enhances expression of confusion while growing harnessed to their own pace. Identifying and adjusting to the varying ways students learn also greatly improve student engagement and performance.
