About Daniel
I am a 22-year-old graduate of Computer Science from the University of Surrey. Currently, I am working as a software developer in the finance industry. I have been tutoring Maths and Computer Science since 2016 at both GCSE and A-Level. In 2018-19, I also completed a year in industry working as a software developer at IBM.
I tutor both the GCSE/A-Level syllabuses for Computer Science and GCSE Mathematics.
I also teach topics that are not currently part of the school curriculum such as machine learning and web development.
I am mostly available on weekday evenings and on weekends. I will work to be flexible around your schedule where possible.
I have experience in tutoring Maths and Computing/Computer Science at GCSE and A-Level, as well as younger students (age 10-12). I graduated with a first in Computer Science from the University of Surrey in 2020. I studied Electronics, Computing and Maths at A-Level and achieved A*AA respectively in those subjects.
From July 2018 to July 2019 I also took on a role as a software developer at IBM Hursley to gain some industry knowledge and here I also worked on my teaching skills through helping to develop tools to teach younger children about machine learning and also teaching classes at local primary schools.
