About Leah
This is my very first time using a tutoring site in all honesty, but I have had tutoring experience as such. I have tutored 2 girls for their GCSE's, one being last year and the other this. I had intentions of setting myself up for tutoring last year but decided to secure my place at university before beginning anything else. I helped the girls with both Maths and Chemistry lessons, following their own exam board criteria. I am still awaiting results from the sessions this year, but the feedback from the exam was extremely positive from her. The girl from the year before had recently failed her mock exams before I was asked to help tutor her, she then came out of her exams with B's in both Maths and Chemistry.

I am currently undergoing my Masters in Chemistry at Nottingham Trent University, where I am ready to begin my second year in September. My intentions are to then go on to becoming a Chemistry A level teacher. Throughout my studies I have had many tutors myself and understand that each and every student has their own individual ways around learning. I take it upon myself to adapt to each child's preferred ways of studying. Each lesson will be followed by practice questions, which I will attempt myself along side them, in the following session to ensure a full understanding. I am very easy to talk to and have been brought up around many children so find it extremely easy to get along.
