About Sahil
I have completed a Masters and Undergraduate Degree at the University of Warwick in Maths and Computer Science and previously for A-Levels I got 4A*s doing Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry. I attended QE Boys (Barnet), which is a grammar school, so I have experience in 11+ material.
Maths has especially been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember and I would love to instill some of this into my students through my energetic personality. Seeing students make progress brings me so much joy and I therefore relish any opportunity I have to serve young people in this way.

The first lesson will be used to assess the strengths and weaknesses of the student, by asking the student what areas of the material I could help them with the most. I will also have a bank of questions ready for my student to have a go at to see for myself what topics we need to concentrate on more.
My lessons are 1 hour, any more than that and from my experience, the lesson is not as productive anymore.
The first 15-20 minutes of the lesson will normally be a deep dive into the details of the topic at hand, to build a solid foundation of understanding. The rest of the lesson will be filled with practical examples and questions for the student to try.
I have tutored for 1 year covering GCSE maths and 11 plus entrance exam material.
My lessons are for all ages up to and including GCSE students.
