About Darren
I have taught Mathematics within Secondary schools and also managed a successful department for much of that time. I have taught all ability levels and pride myself on providing clear explanations and asking key questions to help students improve their understanding. I also have considerable experience in private tuition. I encourage students to think deeply about problems and help them develop their confidence through a structured approach. I look forward to helping. Clear working out when presenting solutions is, I believe, fundamental and as such this is emphasised during each tuition session. I enjoy witnessing student progress and through consistent, incremental improvement and appropriate praise, great things can be achieved. I look forward to helping.
