About Khaled
For the past year I have been tutoring my cousin, currently in year 6, and a student from a private school who is sitting his GCSE's this year. My second student is improved massively from achieving grade 3 to most recently a grade 6. As mentioned before, at GCSE I achieved a grade 8 and I am now currently studying A level mathematics. Being young and a student myself makes me more approachable then an older tutor where a student may be intimidated or scared to ask questions.

Although I have only been tutoring for the past year, I feel I poses the relevant skills to help students achieve effective results in maths. Having sat the new maths GCSE last year where I effectively achieved a grade 8 allows me to pass on exam skills and tips I discovered while studying and practising for my exam. In my lessons, I stress the importance of understanding a concept rather than just remembering what to do where- this will allow you to remember it more clearly. In theory, having a clear understanding and a strong work ethic will allow you to achieve substantially higher grades. As a person I feel I am very relaxed and welcome to questions or any difficulties a student has no matter how long it takes to understand.
