About Martin
I am a supply teacher and have being teaching for over 30 years, mainly in Primary School around Norfolk. I have some high school experience. I have only just started home tutoring. I have had two students both of whom I have managed to help. The first was refusing to go to school and I managed to build up her confidence so that she went back into main stream education. The 2nd and current student has also opted out of school. But has made great progress in maths since I have been teaching her. she has grown in self confidence

I use a wide range of methods. I try to build confidence in all my students. I try to meet their individual needs. I am good at encouraging them. I like to explain concepts in simple manner. I use a method called a learning ladder. The student starts at a lower level and the work gradually becomes more complex. I also like using problem solving methods where possible. I can also use traditional methods
