About Ann
I am a retired maths teacher with many years' experience tutoring and marking higher exam papers. I enjoy the challenge of helping my students fulfil their potential and also enjoy the interaction this involves. I feel I can relate to my students as not only am I an experienced teacher but I have 5 grandchildren all at different stages of secondary education.

I am a retired maths teacher with many years experience of tutoring
My first aim is to have my students enjoy maths and to that end my lessons are structured for the individual
My students always achieve excellent results and the majority do end up enjoying the subject
I set homework weekly and will recommend an appropriate text book and I give regular updates on progress
Providing the student is motivated I guarantee a pass at the required level
