I use simple explanations, conversations, examples, vocabulary practice, pronunciation exercises, and real-life Filipino expressions. I also adjust my lessons depending on the student’s goals, learning pace, and current level.
My typical lesson plan include:
- A short warm-up conversation
- Introduction of new Tagalog words or phrases
- Simple explanations of sentence structure and grammar
- Pronunciation and speaking practice
- Everyday conversation exercises
- Practical examples that Filipinos commonly use
- A short review at the end of the lesson
