About Julia
Hi! I'm Julia. Im currently enrolled in the Arts and Science program at McGill University, therefore I have a thorough understanding of multiple technical subjects such as Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and Accounting. Additionally, I am an insightful thinker and have an affinity for the humanities, including the languages and the humanities. I have experience teaching swimming, and as a former camp counsellor for children from ages 3-12.

I have a passion for teaching and I find it genuinely fulfilling to connect with students and help them prosper by methods that suit them! I believe that there are numerous teaching styles that may appeal to different students. As such, my methods are specifically tailored to students, in order to maximize efficacy without making them uncomfortable in the learning environment. While I do not have extensive expertise in a specific subject, I can explain most concepts for elementary and high school students if the materials are provided to me beforehand, to allow me to form a precise and efficient study plan.

- preparation: the materials that I must prepare/review before a tutor session
- education level: the difficulty of the concepts that I will be explaining

- hours: the quantity of tutor hours/sessions that are requested
