About Varun
I’m currently studying Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering at UTS, where I get to explore my passion for math, physics, and hands-on problem-solving. Along the way, I’ve also built a solid foundation in chemistry, which adds a unique perspective to my understanding of engineering concepts. Back in high school, I scored 92% in my IGCSE exams, studying physics, chemistry, and math, along with computer science and economics as additional subjects. Later, I took on one of the toughest combinations in the IB curriculum—physics, chemistry, and math at the higher level—and earned a score of 35/45. These days, I’m focusing on learning microelectronics and sharpening my skills with CAD tools like CATIA and SolidWorks. I enjoy the challenge of turning ideas into designs and designs into reality, and I’m always looking for opportunities to work on projects that let me combine creativity and technical expertise. I’m excited about where this path will lead and eager to keep learning and growing in fields like robotics, manufacturing, and space technologies.

Well, I believe everyone has a different way of learning. I've seen tutors focusing on what worked for most of the high-grade students but not on the ones that are struggling with finding their own way. I focus on what matters, like if a student understands the concept, regular tests, and practicals. My lessons would work for kids from ages 12-16. I have been a tutor in the past where I taught kids about entrepreneurship and economics. As I am also currently studying at UTS, I want to help other kids go into the field of STEM without doubting themselves like I did.
