About James
I recently graduated with First Class Honours in Mechanical Engineering and am about to begin an MSc in Applied Computational Science and Engineering at Imperial College London. I have experience tutoring at GCSE level and have found a profound passion for teaching. Through my undergraduate degree and A-levels in Mathematics and Physics, I have developed a strong foundation in problem-solving, analytical thinking, and clear communication — all of which I bring into my tutoring sessions.

Using my expertise in mathematics and computer science, I will personalise our lessons to suit each individual’s needs. I am a strong believer that everyone learns differently, and together we will find the optimal learning methods that work best for you. Having tutored in a local school, I’ve gained valuable experience working with students of varying abilities and learning styles. This has helped me develop a flexible and supportive approach to teaching — one ensures real understanding rather than rote memorisation. Whether you’re looking to strengthen your foundational skills, prepare for exams, or explore more advanced topics, I’m here to help you reach your goals in a way that works for you.
