About Alexander
I play a lot of sports; cricket rugby and golf. I'm currently taking time out prior to starting a role in finance in the late summer/ autumn.
I am happy to do both online lessons or in person teaching, or a composite of the two.

I look to tailor the lesson format to the desires of the student. But as a general rule I find lessons of 1.5-2hrs most impactful for older students and shorter lessons for younger students. I feel that it is important for students to gain a strong understanding of the underlying concept rather than just learning to answer the types of exam questions expected, but I am aware that the goal is purely exam-results oriented and as such past paper questions are a core part of the preparation.
