About Ben
I am studying an honours degree in Mechatronics at university. The course demands me to regularly apply advanced mathematics to various engineering problems. I passed my most recent mathematics module at university with a very high percentage. During high school, I attained a grade A in higher mathematics. I believe that anyone has the ability to succeed with and enjoy maths and just need to be taught in a way that works with their mind.

I can teach maths ranging from primary school level to higher level. I believe that success with maths relies on having confidence with the various smaller tools that fit together to solve a bigger problem. I can identify what in particular is causing a student to struggle with a problem and help them develop and reinforce their confidence in this particular area before encouraging them to reattempt the original problem which they will now find much more easier and enjoyable.
