About Ben
I’m Ben, and having 5+ years experience studying in Media having also done several group and independent projects, I have gained a lot of knowledge and experience and want to share that with people who are looking to broaden their knowledge in media. As my student you would engage in fun, interactive lessons where you would learn the techniques of media alongside key theories studied at GCSE level and above.
Having also sat exams and dealt with deadlines I know how stressful it can be, so I also can prepare my students and help them study key areas they need in order to feel prepared to take on an exam or project from planning to revising, I want to create a relationship with my students that we both enjoy and can help broaden their knowledge in the media industry.

In my lessons I can mentor on the following:
- Key Elements of Media Studies, Film Production and Creative Media. From music videos, to television and of course film.
- Each lesson will last around an hour with tasks and interactive learning for the student.
- Suitable for students starting out or studying a Diploma or GCSE or A Level (Secondary School or College Level)
- Kind, caring and attentive I will assist students in preparing for things such as exams with my prior knowledge and can also teach students in areas of my specialised studies that they would like to gain more knowledge in, also providing research tasks ready to share with me in the next lesson.
- As someone with a Media Studies GCSE, a Diploma and Extended Diploma in Creative Media L3 and currently studying Film Production at Southhampton’s Solent University, I can share my knowledge that I have dedicated 5+ years of my life to, helping to educate and prepare someone who wants to learn more about Media.
