About Emily
I'm a medical student who has been having piano lessons since I was 6 years old! I play at a grade seven level.
I am also a grade 8 singer, and have travelled abroad on choir tours. I play oboe at a grade 8 level.

I teach children the very basics of piano playing and reading music. I also like developing their musicality and sense of rate and rhythm, as whilst technique is important, it's these form the basis for playing really well.
I integrate teaching of pieces with learning scales and arpeggios, and learning how to sightread sheet music.
