About Umamah
I have finished my fourth year of medical school and am currently taking a year out to study a Masters in Clinical Neurology. I am passionate about science and have taught GCSE, A-level and medical students individually and in group settings. I enjoy teaching in an interactive and engaging way to equip students with the skills to solve new and daunting problems, as well as provide a good knowledge base. I encourage feedback, and am always happy to change my approach for individuals

I like to discuss clear goals and learning objectives with the student so they feel they have made progress in each session. I believe exam technique is half the grade, so I like to work on practical exam questions and scenarios to help develop the technique, whilst reviewing the content. I used many acronyms and mnemonics to help me remember important points, and like to share ways of remembering all the content- especially in subjects like Biology!
