About Jing Yu (Joey)
I'm a Chinese-malaysian based in Dublin. I've just finished 2nd year in UCD as an undergraduate medical student. I completed my Malay language studies until SPM (the equivalent of O-Levels) so I have an understanding in the traditional Malay poems, comprehension, day to day conversations, proverbs and many more.

Interaction is very important so it's very important for students to interact with me and other students when trying to learn the Malay language. I would first teach about daily conversation and what to say or ask when travelling to Malaysia, Brunei, Indonesia or even Singapore. Based on their needs, I can then teach them more advanced vocabularies and proverbs to master the language.
