About Sumrah
I study medicine in London and am entering my 5th year of study, having just achieved an intercalated BSc degree. I've been tutoring for nearly 3 years now and have had a number of students achieving excellent grades; for example, one who raised his 3 in chemistry to an 8!

Most of my lessons are structured around questions and past papers, but I always make sure to ascertain a student's level of knowledge and review the content first if there's a gap in the knowledge. I aim for my students to employ a technique known as 'active learning' - by using questions and past papers, they are constantly testing themselves and uncovering parts of the syllabus that they are unsure about, thereby ensuring they cover the whole topic thoroughly. Active learning tends to be much more useful than things like simply reading notes or highlighting.
