About Suhail
As a medical student at the University of St Andrews, I have a strong academic background in Biology, Chemistry and Physics. I achieved Grade 9s in all three subjects at GCSE, giving me a strong understanding of the content and exam techniques needed to succeed.
I am friendly, patient and approachable, and I aim to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning from their mistakes. I tailor my lessons to each student's needs, whether they are looking to build confidence, improve their understanding of difficult topics or prepare for their GCSE exams.
I am passionate about helping students reach their potential and making challenging subjects feel more manageable and enjoyable.

I take a friendly, patient and personalised approach to tutoring Biology, Chemistry and Physics at GCSE level. I aim to make difficult topics easier to understand by breaking them down into simple, manageable steps and adapting my teaching style to each student's needs.
My lessons typically involve explaining key concepts clearly, working through examples together, and then giving students questions to complete independently. I also focus on exam technique, helping students understand how to structure answers, identify key command words and apply their knowledge effectively to GCSE-style questions. I encourage students to ask questions and make mistakes, as I believe this is an important part of learning.
A typical lesson lasts around 1 hour, although I can adapt the length depending on the student's age, concentration and individual needs.
My lessons are designed for GCSE students, typically ages 14–16, studying Biology, Chemistry or Physics. I can support students who are struggling with particular topics, as well as students who want to build confidence, consolidate their knowledge or prepare for exams.
My goal is not simply to help students memorise information, but to help them understand the subject, become more confident and develop the skills needed to succeed in their GCSE exams.
