About Ranbir
I am currently a medical student at the University of Birmingham with a strong academic background and a genuine passion for learning and helping others succeed. Having studied Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Economics at A-level, I understand the challenges students face when tackling difficult concepts and preparing for important examinations.
My interest in tutoring stems partly from my own experiences as a student, where I benefited from the support and guidance of tutors who helped me develop confidence in my abilities and approach challenging subjects with greater clarity. This inspired me to provide the same support to other students and help them realise their academic potential.
Having previously tutored students of different ages and abilities, I have found it particularly rewarding to see their understanding develop and their confidence grow over time. I believe that every student is capable of making significant progress with the right guidance, encouragement and teaching approach. As a tutor, I aim to create a friendly, supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and developing the confidence to succeed independently.

My lessons are tailored to each student’s individual needs, with a strong focus on making sure they develop a clear and thorough understanding of each topic. I aim to break down difficult concepts into simple, manageable explanations and encourage students to ask questions until they feel confident with the material.
Alongside this, I help students develop their exam technique through practice questions, past-paper material and guidance on how to structure answers effectively. Lessons typically last around one hour and are available for GCSE and A-level Biology and Chemistry, as well as A-level Economics
