About Clodagh
I want to become a grinds tutor because I really enjoy helping others understand subjects that they may initially find difficult or overwhelming. Having achieved 613 points myself and now studying medicine, I know how important good teaching, encouragement and effective exam preparation can be.
I would particularly like the opportunity to share the study techniques and exam strategies that worked for me, while adapting my approach to suit each student’s individual strengths and needs. I also think tutoring would be very rewarding, particularly when you can see a student’s confidence improve as they begin to understand a subject better.

I understand how overwhelming exam preparation can be, so my approach is focused on making subjects easier to understand while also helping students build confidence and develop effective exam techniques\.
I can help with:
- Biology & Chemistry – understanding difficult topics, revision and exam technique
- Irish – oral preparation, written work and exam technique
- French & Spanish – grammar, vocabulary, oral preparation and written work
- Leaving Certificate exam preparation and study planning
As a current medical student, I have plenty of experience managing a demanding workload and preparing effectively for exams\. I aim to make grinds relaxed, engaging and tailored to each student’s individual needs\.
