About Purusotha
I have been tutoring for more than six years now. I completed three years of my medical degree at Brighton and Sussex Medical School before starting an intercalated DPhil (PhD) in Oncology at the University of Oxford from 2022-2025. I have now resumed year 4 of my medical degree in Brighton and have plans to pursue an academic clinical career. I have a track record of 100% A*-A in GCSE English Literature, Language, History and 100% A* in A Level Biology amongst my previous cycle of tutees. I attended one of the most prestigious independent schools in the country on a full scholarship and achieved 10A*s at GCSE, 4As in my AS Levels and A*AA at A2 Level; a strong academic backbone that should instil confidence amongst my tutees in my ability to guide them through the myriad of public exams that they will have to face. In addition to subject level teaching I always offer tailored university admissions advice, guidance on interview and presentation tips as well as bespoke mentoring for many challenges for the transition between secondary school to undergraduate education.

My experience of completing my DPhil studies at the University of Oxford exposed me to the critical thinking and pedagogy required to convey your thoughts in an articulate manner in high-pressure situations, such as an admissions interview.
