About Abbie
I am a graduate in Medieval Studies, with a focus on literature. I have a passion for both history and literature and enjoy sharing that passion with my students.
I understand that English isn’t always for everyone. So whether you’re trying to pass an exam so you can move on to what you really want to study, or you’re looking to fine-tune your technique so you can achieve the highest grade possible, I am excited to help you achieve your goals!

I prefer a holistic and tailored approach to tutoring, with a focus on each student’s individual goals and weak spots, with the use of wider contextual information to support a student’s understanding of the material.
My lessons are usually an hour long, though this can be expanded to up to two hours in the run-up to exams, and are a mixture of going through past papers, textual excerpts, and discussing themes and topics within the text.
