About Avik
As a current Melbourne High School student, I have first-hand experience with high-academic standards and competitive entrance exams.
Over the years, I’ve developed effective learning strategies that simplify challenging concepts in Math. I understand how challenging math can be initially, and there is no such thing as a stupid question!
Beyond just improving grades, I aim to mentor younger students, helping them cultivate strong problem-solving skills, structured study routines, and the confidence needed to excel in school assessments and selective entry tests.

I provide online Math tutoring tailored for primary and early high school students (from years 3-10) who want to strengthen their fundamental skills and boost their confidence. Every 60-minute lesson features structured instruction, interactive problem solving, and practical homework support.
Drawing from my current experience at Melbourne High School, I break down tricky mathematical concepts into easy, digestible steps. These are tailored to each student and their needs, so every student can excel in their school assessments and beyond.

Avik was super helpful. I had a few lessons with him in 2026, and he helped me understand how to write my Year 9 text response on Animal Farm. He adapted to what I was not sure about and made sure he taught that in an easy-to-understand way. Great tutor.
