About Ally
I am 27 years old and have been working as a mechanical engineer after graduating with a master's degree. Throughout my career, I have worked as a ski instructor, nursery assistant and special needs carer which has helped me develop a broad range of teaching skills.
I have always had a passion for teaching and helping others achieve their goals. Having grown up in a large family, I have been teaching and supporting siblings from an early age.

A typical class will start with a quick chat to get to know the student - what the current level of knowledge is, what the preferred style of teaching is and what are sort of goals we will be working towards.
We will then have a discussion to go over the theory behind the topic that will be covered followed by some detailed example exercises. As the lesson progresses examples will become more challenging with less instructional input.
Each lesson is tailored to suit the individual student.
I have a master's degree in mechanical engineering and have experience teaching kids and adults from all backgrounds. I have spent time working as a professional mechanical engineer and also as special needs carer, nursery assistant and ski instructor.
