Hello, I’m a qualified hcpc registered Mental Health Occupational Therapist and a level 5 city and guilds trained counsellor with experience working within mental health services, sexual violence, domestic abuse ,including safeguarding, risk assessment and multidisciplinary team working. I am trained to safeguarding level 4. I have over 17 years experience of working within mental health forensic practice, learning disabilities,insurance sector, neuro diversity and disability assessments.
I am also registered with the British association of occupational therapists.

Hello, I’m a qualified hcpc registered Mental Health Occupational Therapist and a level 5 city and guilds trained counsellor with experience working within mental health services, sexual violence, domestic abuse ,including safeguarding, risk assessment and multidisciplinary team working. I am trained to safeguarding level 4. I have over 17 years experience of working within mental health forensic practice, learning disabilities,insurance sector, neuro diversity and disability assessments
I offer supportive online mentoring and tutoring for students studying Occupational Therapy, Counselling, Mental Health, Health & Social Care and related healthcare subjects.
My approach combines academic support with practical clinical insight to help students build confidence, strengthen professional understanding and bridge the gap between theory and real-world healthcare practice.
I can support students with:
* Reflective writing and assignments
* Placement preparation and confidence-building
* Understanding safeguarding and risk management
* Mental health concepts and therapeutic approaches
* Clinical reasoning and scenario discussion
* Professional communication and boundaries
* Study organisation and academic confidence
* Applying theory to practice within healthcare settings
I particularly enjoy helping students who may feel unsure about placement environments, lacking in confidence academically, or struggling to apply classroom learning within clinical settings.
My sessions are supportive and tailored to individual learning needs. I aim to create a professional and encouraging environment where students feel more confident, capable and prepared for both academic and practice-based learning.
