About Tonya
We build models. Every lesson moves from initial concept development to final rendering as we refine your specific architectural vision. We look at your work in progress to catch errors in drawing or scale.
My degree allows me to guide you through the technical requirements of foundation studies while keeping the design process fun. I help students handle SketchUp and CAD software until these tools feel like extensions of their own hands.
We prioritise clarity and precision in every line. You will learn how to present your ideas with confidence. It is a slow process.

Maybe it is the structure of the Bartlett or the history of Cambridge that keeps me focused on the fundamentals. I spent 8 years navigating the London computational scene and learnt that beautiful renders mean little without a solid concept. My teaching covers everything from AutoCAD and SketchUp to physical model making. I enjoy working with A-level design students who are just starting to see how space functions.
Beginners often need help bridging the gap between a vague idea and a tangible material. We discuss sustainable design and how the materials you select define the life of the structure. I provide free access to my reference drawings so you can see how professionals document their work. It is all about the process.
