About Jamie
Standing under the warm glow of theater lights taught me that the voice is a living instrument. I transitioned from those high-pressure stages to a quiet studio environment where I now guide voices through 13 years of craft. My teaching covers pitch control and belting technique alongside delicate vibrato control.
I work regularly with grade exam candidates, returning learners, hobbyists, adults, and teens. Helping someone find their true resonance is deeply rewarding. I focus on breathing control and rhythm and phrasing to ensure you understand your instrument.
Whether refining your head and chest voice or building range extension, I ensure the process remains grounded. Watching a student gain performance confidence is what I find most enjoyable.

You will find that our time together feels like a conversation between two musicians. We start with specific warm up exercises designed to wake your muscles up. The core of our work uses my Master of Music from Sydney Conservatorium of Music.
I break down complex belting technique into manageable physical shifts. You will practice breathing control until it feels natural. Short bursts of focus yield the best results.
