About the lesson
1:1 tuition for adults and children. I can also provide tuition on a siblings together basis.
Adults
I can provide tuition and support for undergraduates, A-level students, BTECS, on Early Years courses/degrees. I enable the student to think critically in order to gain a deeper understanding of the subject.
I can offer just proofreading, assignment annotation, help with dissertations etc if regular help isn't needed.
Parents
Providing insights into how children learn and giving activity ideas/support and recommendations to how to get the most from your playtime with your child/children.
Children
Providing stimulating and encouraging setups to foster a natural love of learning through play. I use resources from my own shop and inspire the children to think whilst playing by providing descriptive commentary to scaffold their learning.
My tuition for children in the Early Years age range is relaxed and playful so please do not expect children to be sat at a table with a workbook; children learn best when they are enjoying play!

About Jade
Highly experienced, dedicated, passionate and creative child development professional. Specialising in messy and sensory play with 15+ years in the field and a first class honours degree in Early Years Leadership, Management & Enterprise from Edge Hill University.
I own multiple businesses; one of which is my messy and sensory play handmade resources shop; I am also a content creator for early years education and messy and sensory play. On top of those I am also a Quality Assurance Consultant, inspecting childminders in the Greater Manchester area.
I have a wide experience spanning working as a childminder and nanny; working within nurseries and schools; and additionally in sure start centres.
I have four children of my own whom I home educate and promote learning through play. My children are 8, 6, 4 and 2 years old. I had two of my children whilst on my degree! The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) is my area of expertise, between the ages of birth to 5 years old.

I've known Jade for several years after having met her at university to read early years leadership and management and could tell pretty quickly that this sector and the career path she'd chosen is just what she was meant to be doing. We've been friends ever since our early uni days. She's an amazing, loving and understanding early years practitioner; the heart of her practice comes from just simply understanding how children learn and grow through explorative play. She's also but most importantly an amazing mother to her 4 children, and she spends a lot of her time homeschooling all of them with a full cohesive curriculum.
Trusting her as a tutor should be an easy decision because of all her previous merits; I actually think she could teach a child anything through sheer drive and passion for what she's doing and for every child as an individual who deserves the best early years education.
