About Joaldo
At the age of one, I moved to French Guiana with my parents, where I lived for many years and attended elementary school at a full-time French public school. I learned Brazilian Portuguese through lessons my mother provided on weekends. After my parents separated, my mother chose to return to Brazil, where I have lived ever since.
Thus, I am a native speaker of both French and Brazilian Portuguese, without language habits or accents that could hinder students' progress.
Currently, 90% of my students are Brazilians who have just arrived in France for the Au Pair exchange program or to establish permanent residency.
