My classes have a different methodology than the school courses. They are practical and functional classes. We can progress at your pace or group's own pace. I put an emphasis on pronunciation, teaching the International Phonetic Alphabet, which is key to having a good diction and it will help others understand you better when speaking.
My students work with a coursebook according to their level but I vary the use of
learners material to create more dynamic and practical classes, where you can practice written and oral expression, and reading and listening comprehension. In addition, I regularly take reading or listening comprehension activities from realia. Sometimes those seen in a coursebook do not show to the student how the language is really handled in real life.
I specialize in teaching English speakers because I've been teaching English for five years.
