As a French tutor, I prioritize creating a comfortable and engaging experience for students to develop confidence in speaking before diving into more complex grammar skills. My teaching methods are tailored to each student's unique interests and goals, incorporating diverse subjects that make the learning experience both enjoyable and relevant. I believe language learning is an innate ability that, when nurtured, becomes a joyful and fulfilling pursuit.
A typical lesson begins with conversational practice to build fluency and confidence, followed by targeted exercises to address specific linguistic needs, such as vocabulary, pronunciation, or grammar. We then apply these skills to real-world contexts, ensuring practical application and meaningful progress.
What sets me apart is my approach as a personal linguistic coach—working closely with students to build the muscle memory and self-assurance needed to communicate authentically in French. My lessons are ideal for all levels, from middle school to college students, as well as adults seeking to improve their French for academic, professional, or personal purposes. Together, we will make learning French a rewarding journey.

Michael is an excellent teacher. I have to say that I never had such a good teacher. He is preparing his lessons with a lot of effort. He is completely focused on his students and respects their interests by working with them. So it is not only about the learning of a language it is also very interesting concerning different perspectives on the various subjects. Time flies with him. Even teachers of the l'institute Francais are often not that good.
I was really impressed, surprised and very happy that I could find s.o. like him. He is a real stroke of luck. I can highly recommend him with a clear conscience.
Michael is an amazing French tutor! He’s super patient, makes lessons fun, and really knows how to explain things in a way that makes sense. He’s always encouraging and creates a relaxed vibe that helps you feel confident while learning. I totally recommend him to anyone wanting to learn or improve their French!
Micheal tutored me in French over a period of four years and I cannot recommend him highly enough. He is patient, knowledgeable, and has a knack for finding ways to make learning fun. I was surprised at how quickly I went from having zero knowledge of French to being able to hold a conversation!
