I teach a wide range of subjects from Entrance Exams through English, Maths and Ancient Greek.

My BA and MA in English are from Oxford; my Cert.Ed is from Kent.
- How much do you charge?
Prices start at £30/hr; I typically charge a couple of pounds to cover my petrol costs in getting to you. Discounts are available for bulk bookings.
- Where do you teach?
I teach students around the Surrey and South London area - most of my students are within 10 miles of Caterham, though I have taught further away on request.
- When are you available?
I teach Monday through Saturday, between 9am-10pm

I've experience teaching students from 5-70

I have a positive and energetic teaching approach, and this helps in motivating students – why not try just one lesson and see how we do?
- What kind of experience do you have?
I taught at Caterham School (a private secondary school in Surrey) for 25 years; since then I've accumulated 15 years' private tuition experience in and around the Surrey area.
Past successes include 11+ entrance exams; boosting A-level grades, getting several students into Oxbridge; PhD and Masters' thesis writing/proof-reading; motivating students into completing A-levels and going on to university.
