I love inspiring my students to see the world in new ways and to feel comfortable asking questions, debating ideas, and proving myself wrong!
As a teacher, I know the standards of learning that you need to meet for assessments, be they summative or formative, and constantly adapt my tutoring to meet you where you're at.
The world, its history, the tales we tell, and the perspectives we listen to, have shaped every part of life - I want you to walk away from our lessons not just knowing more content or academic skills, but also with an appreciation for learning why we are the way we are.

I have experience differentiating and scaffolding work and my approach to students of all capabilities, with the desire to make my students love history, think critically, understand global politics and internatioanl relations, the link between geography, economics, and history, the social history of countries and lived experiences of the everyday person, and be able to analyse sources. Students will be able to communicate, articulate, and debate their ideas and findings in a logical and empathetic manner.
I can assist and build practices around communication and drafting, researching material, and interpreting perspectives.
Lessons range from 40-60 minutes
Age range: Grade 8 - Grade 12
Experience: Middle and Senior School teacher since 2019
