About Jodie
I am a dedicated middle school educator with experience teaching Social Studies, reading, and writing to diverse learners. I recently earned my Master’s degree from Georgia Southern University and currently work in the classroom with 6th and 7th grade students each day. My experience has helped me develop strong instructional strategies, classroom management skills, and the ability to adapt lessons to different learning styles. I strive to create engaging, well-structured lessons while maintaining a patient, professional, and encouraging approach with every student.

My lessons are engaging, supportive, and personalized to fit each student’s learning style and goals. I focus on helping students build confidence while improving reading comprehension, writing, vocabulary, study habits, and Social Studies skills. As a current middle school teacher, I understand how to keep students motivated and involved through interactive activities, real-world connections, and patient guidance. My goal is to create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, taking academic risks, and growing both academically and personally.
