About Jamie
My approach to tutoring is friendly, patient and tailored to each student's individual needs and goals. I focus on building confidence alongside practical language skills, using a mixture of conversation, vocabulary, grammar, and culture.
Lessons are typically 1 hour, although I am more than happy to adapt the length to your requirements.
I am a Modern Languages graduate specialising in Spanish, French, and Russian. I have recently come back from a year in France, where I taught English at a middle school, as well as coaching and tutoring adults.
I am happy to work with all levels from beginners to more advanced levels, and for children, university students, and professionals alike.

I graduated with a degree in Modern Languages in 2025 and am deeply passionate about languages and culture.
Having lived abroad in several countries, including Spain, France, and Estonia, I have had the opportunity to use languages in everyday life and develop a deeper understanding of the cultures behind them.
My goal is to not only help students achieve their language-learning goals, but also to share my passion and enthusiasm for languages.
Learning languages should be an enjoyable and rewarding experience, and my aim is to help you with that.
