About Ruby
Hello, I am Ruby! I am 23 years old, from England (near to London). I studied Spanish and French at university and have a passion for language learning and teaching. I have a fair amount of teaching experience, which I think makes me an empathetic and friendly teacher. I pride myself on being curious about language and grammar, and I feel my enthusiasm is slightly infectious, so prepare! I am always judgement-free and try to ensure my lessons feel like a safe space where questions and curiosity is encouraged.

English - As a native speaker, I would be able to help each student practice their conversational skills and fluency, ensuring they sound natural and native. I can also help with reading and writing skills. I enjoy using current and modern resources such as favourite books or newspapers to ensure students vocabulary is up-to-date and politically correct. I am also flexible to focus on certain or specific topics, if requested.
GCSE French - Helping prepare for exams with a focus on writing skills, speaking and reading. Open to looking at any school work, however also able to help further achieve through separate exercises using my own resources, which I like to keep current and up to date.
Lessons can vary between 30 minutes and 1 hour (however open to longer if needed).
About me- I am a Modern Languages (Spanish and French) Graduate from the University of Birmingham. I am currently teaching English in the Univeristy of Toulouse Jean Jaurès. I also have prior teaching experience, working as a language assistant during my final year of university in the University of Birmingham School, teaching GCSE level french.
