About Helena
I am Modern Language Student studying French and Spanish at the University of Kent. Over the past 4 years, I've had the opportunity to tutor different students whose age varied from 10 to 15 years old. I try to use a variety of methods while teaching, which may vary from age group to another. One technique I use frequently is presenting the student with a picture that has no text and get them to describe it to me. In order to allow them to further improve their speaking skills, I will ask them a few question so to enable them to expand. I'm a very patient person and I like to make people feel at ease, as sometimes it might be nerve racking speaking a different language to someone they may not know.
