About Yolande
I have tutored students of varying ages and have had 4 years worth of experience. I have prepared my most recent student for their HSK3 exam and they have passed with 97%, therefore I believe I have a strong grasp of how to lead effective lessons. All of my students that I have taught have been from absolute beginners level, so don't worry if you don't know any mandarin at all and want to give it a go!
I am only here during August unfortunately but I am willing to give intensive package lessons at an affordable price.

Hi, my name is Yolande. I am 20 years old and I am currently a student studying Modern Languages at Durham University but I enjoy teaching Mandarin up to GCSE level as an extra curricular hobby. I have passed my Pre-U Mandarin Chinese Exam in 2014 with a Distinction. Even though I am a student myself, I have tutored students of varying ages and have had 4 years worth of experience. I have prepared my most recent student for their HSK3 exam and they have passed with 97%, therefore I believe I have a strong grasp of how to lead effective lessons. In my lessons I will always make my own worksheets for students to do either in class or for homework. Even if I am teaching online, I can always prepare online worksheets for students to do as well and make online powerpoints. Depending on the age of student, I also have taught by playing different games for the younger students to make lessons as fun as possible.
