About Megan
I graduated from Edinburgh Napier University in 2019 with a 2:1 honours degree in Social Sciences. I then completed the PGDE in Modern Studies at Strathclyde University.
I am currently in my fifth year of teaching and have experience within different schools. I have worked with young people of various different abilities and backgrounds. I am able to effectively adapt lessons in order to meet the needs of all learners and ensure everyone can access learning. This ensures they will progress throughout the year and achieve their goals and build their confidence for end of year examinations.

Each lesson will be adapted to suit the needs of the learner.
A discussion will be held with the learner about their experience of modern studies in school, what topics they are covering and the areas they feel they are struggling with the most.
We will start from here working on the areas they feel they struggle with most in order to build their confidence in time for the exam.
Tasks will be given to the learner to complete weekly in order to assess their progress. Important skills will be focused on such as evaluation, analysis and criticality.
