About Feyi
I have had 3+ years experience in tutoring Mathematics, Further mathematics and Physics. I have had also 1+ years teaching undergraduate students during workshops and lab based demos in maths and specific topics such as control systems.
I have taught a range of students from key stage 2 up to degree level. Teaching at the various levels has allowed me to be more adaptable in my approach and teaching style.The feedback I have received over the years have been very positive in regards to my bubbly personality, good communication skills and motivational personality.
I have helped to improve my students grades significantly. For example, my previous student surpassed his predicted grades by 2 grade levels up for both subjects which I tutored him in. He is now studying Aeronautical Engineering at University of Loughborough and he is really enjoying it. I have to say hearing how he is doing truly gives me a sense of fulfilment. In addition to this, I have provided more than teaching support to my students. I have helped my students when applying to university (supporting them during the application, helping ease concerns in regards to changes when going to university and what to expect)
More on my self; I have a first class honours masters degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus in robotics in my final year from the university of Birmingham. During my final year, I was given the opportunity to work part-time along side my degree helping lecturers in delivering their course content to undergraduate students. Prior to this, at A-Level, I attained an A*, A, B, A in Mathematics, Further mathematics, physics and Design & Technology.
