About Rune
I am a passionate violin teacher with 14 years of experience teaching school students, college students, and working professionals. Music has always been an important part of my life, and I enjoy helping others discover its beauty and value.
My teaching philosophy centres on understanding, support, and continuous improvement. I believe that students learn best in a friendly environment where they feel comfortable and motivated. Therefore, I customise my lessons to match each student's learning style and goals.
During my teaching journey, I have helped many students improve their technical skills and musical confidence. One of my greatest achievements has been helping students become independent learners who continue to enjoy music outside of lessons.
I aim to create a positive atmosphere where students can develop confidence and enjoy the process of learning.

My teaching approach is centred on compassion, communication, and encouragement. I believe that a supportive relationship between teacher and student is essential for successful learning.
In violin lessons, I focus on technique, rhythm, tone quality, note reading, and musical expression. I use clear explanations and practical activities to help students understand concepts and apply them effectively.
I encourage regular practice and provide personalised feedback to support steady improvement. I believe every challenge is an opportunity to learn and grow, and I help students develop confidence through patience and encouragement.
Besides violin, I also teach music theory, ear training, sight reading, and other related music subjects. These subjects strengthen overall musicianship and improve performance skills.
My ultimate goal is to help students develop a lasting love for music and achieve their personal and musical goals.
