About Laura Marie
I am currently a Tutor, and Workshop Leader, and I have received positive feedback from all of my engagements. I often incorporate arts&crafts into my sessions, to help the knowledge come alive.
I make learning fun, but at the same time, there is a clear learning objective(s) to every lesson/session.
My students always feel at ease with me, which helps me to tailor any lesson content to the specific needs of each student, so they can best learn and retain the knowledge.
The past visits the present in tangible ways in my classroom; whether virtually, or in-person at my office.

I have additional experience working with SEND children, and most of my current tutees are home-educated SEND students.
I am a passionate supporter of holistic learning, and so, often other subjects will feed into the core subject, where relevant.
This helps children receive a more well-rounded approach to education, and hone their abilities at making interdisciplinary connections.
I mainly offer tutoring in English, History and Modern Foreign Languages, at Key Stage 2, but as a polyglot, I would also be willing to teach at Key Stage 3, as well as Key Stage 1; for which I also have pedagogical training.
