About Victoria
Hi, I’m Vicky! I’ve just completed my MSc in Neuroscience at UCL and have always loved psychology and understanding how the brain works. During my studies, I often found myself helping classmates explain tricky concepts, and I realised how much I enjoy teaching and supporting others. I want to tutor because I know how overwhelming these subjects can feel at times, and I’d like to make them easier and more enjoyable for students at every stage.

My teaching style is supportive, flexible, and focused on making complex topics feel approachable. I tailor each session to the individual student. Some people learn best through structured notes and exam-style questions, while others prefer discussion-based learning with real-world examples. I like to break down tricky concepts into smaller steps, check understanding as we go, and then apply that knowledge to essay writing or exam practice. Lesson Structure: Typical lessons are 60 minutes. A session usually begins with a quick check-in to see what you’d like to focus on, followed by an explanation of the key topic, practice questions/examples, and finally a short recap to make sure everything’s clear. Qualifications & Experience: MSc in Neuroscience from UCL BSc in Human Sciences from UCL Strong academic background in Psychology, Cognitive Science, and Biology Experience supporting peers and younger students with exam prep, assignments, and dissertations throughout my studies Who the Lessons Are For: A-level students (Psychology & Biology) IB Students (Psychology & Biology) Undergraduate students (Psychology, Neuroscience, Cognitive Science) Postgraduate students needing help with dissertation structure, academic writing, or complex topics in psychology/neuroscience Whether you’re preparing for exams, tackling an essay, or struggling to make sense of a tricky concept, I’ll adapt my approach to suit your goals and learning style.
