About Michael
Hi! My name is Michael, and I'm a current master's student at Cambridge with a previous Master of Science by Research in Clinical and Developmental Psychopathology, which was funded by a Fulbright scholarship. Before my master's, I studied for a Bachelor's of psychology in the United States while minoring in public health, French, and European Studies. I've worked as a psychological researcher on several European Union-funded and World Health Organization mental health projects.

I want students to do well in their classes and exams, but I also want them to enjoy exploring psychology! I've previously worked as a TEFL tutor for Spanish-speaking students in the United States, but now I'm looking forward to tutoring students of psychology, whether they're at the college or university level. As a researcher, I'm specialized in social psychology and mental health, but I am also well-equipped to tutor broader introductory concepts, introductory-level statistics, and deeper concepts like learning and memory. Lessons can be 30 or 60 minutes long depending on your needs. Sometimes the biggest barrier to learning psychology is just the way information is presented — and I'm happy to help break down that barrier and make the learning process more welcoming.
