My teaching methods are very much influenced by the type of teaching I have experienced by my tutors and peers in academic settings. I have found group work to be helpful, I prefer an interactive setting for a learning environment and I look forward to seeing every individual's take on different psychological theories and methodologies.
I am currently an MSc Mental Health: Psychological Therapies student, studying via distance learning from Queen Mary University of London. I studied Psychology with Counselling (BSc with Honours) and I graduated in 2017 with a 2:1 classification, motivating me to apply for the MSc course that I am currently studying.
I also work as a Support Worker and as Research Assistant, both based in a Female Psychiatric Hospital. My theoretical/academic and work experiences in mental health have moulded me to understand mental health in theory and in practise in an in-depth and diverse manner. My experience in research, in particular, will be useful to those requiring help in research methods and statistics.
My first lesson with you will be free! I am flexible in my rates and I look forward to discussing what suits individuals best in terms of costs.
