About Aryasurendran
I am an MSc Sustainable Engineering (Energy) and Physics graduate with a strong academic record, having achieved Distinction at every stage of my studies. My background in physics, mathematics, and engineering has not only given me subject expertise but also a passion for solving problems and explaining complex ideas clearly. I want to teach because I believe that education is the key to unlocking opportunities. During my studies, I enjoyed helping peers understand difficult concepts, and I saw how much confidence they gained when things “clicked.” Tutoring allows me to share that same experience with students, supporting them to overcome challenges, improve their exam performance, and develop lasting confidence in their abilities. Teaching also gives me the chance to connect academic theory with real-world applications in science and engineering, making subjects like Maths and Physics more engaging and meaningful. My aim is not just to improve grades, but to inspire students to see the value and excitement in learning.

My tutoring approach is student-centred, supportive, and results-driven. I begin by understanding each student’s individual strengths, challenges, and learning style. From there, I tailor lessons to their specific needs—breaking down complex concepts in Maths and Physics into simple, manageable steps. I believe in building confidence as well as knowledge. By encouraging questions, using real-world examples from physics and engineering, and linking theory to practical applications, I make lessons engaging and relevant. I also focus on exam preparation and problem-solving techniques, ensuring students are not only able to recall information but also apply it effectively under exam conditions. My goal is to help students develop the skills, independence, and resilience needed to succeed academically and beyond. Most importantly, I create a positive and encouraging learning environment, where mistakes are seen as opportunities to learn and progress.
