About Anthony
I am a multi-instrumentalist, graduated as Master in Piano Performance in Boston, Massachusetts. I have 12 years of teaching experience, over 100 students and in multiple countries. Performance Experience - Member of BUSO as 1st violin for 2 years, collaborated with, Ryu Goto, Valentina Lisitsa, Mengla Huang etc. - Member of Cantoria Hong Kong, performed in Beijing, Taipei, Hong Kong etc. - Gave Piano Recitals in Boston, Hong Kong, ShanTou - Invited to be guest player in competitions and gave public talks Teaching Experience My students have consistently achieved excellent results in their exam: - Over 95% result Merit or above - Over 40% result Distinction - Over 50% are Grade 5 or above With experience of giving piano recitals and talks in multiple countries, my area of expertise is teaching advanced students who are pursuing music as a profession or who are at an advanced grade level.

As a passionate classical musician, I love sharing my knowledge of music with my students. I believe that to truly appreciate a piece, it's important to understand the historical and theoretical context behind it, as well as practical techniques to perform it effectively. By delving into the composer's intentions and the nuances of each piece, we can convey its message, emotions, and thoughts to the audience more effectively. Through my lessons, I aim to guide students in developing a systematic approach to analyse different compositions, identifying common patterns, and tailoring their practice techniques to achieve their goals. With my guidance, students will learn to hone their critical thinking skills, enabling them to approach music-making with a greater level of proficiency and artistry.
